My husband is a wonderful person and his breakdowns have nothing to do with us as a couple. It is due rather to his lack of sleep from the baby and the fact that he suffers from bi- polar. When he is not woken up, he is fine, delightful and does a tremendous job of maintaining a healthy routine. This is only the second time that I've witnessed him breakdown--I am shocked by it and obviously cannot be in the same environment with a young baby.
