hi Jeffrey,
I went on my first date a week ago Saturday with a guy I met through Match.com. He is very
interesting—a vegan, Buddhist, physician. The date went well and we made plans to go to
MOMA this Saturday but then he called to cancel on Wednesday because he had to cover at
the hospital for a fellow doctor who was out sick.
It's very strange to deal with so many uncertainties—but actually i've come to the conclusion
that life is more uncertain than it's certain, and that over the course of time change is probably
more natural than having things stay the same. Anyway, I'm determined to be the only one
who is responsible for my happiness. If he doesn't call, at least i know now that it is possible to
meet nice people.
I thought you'd be happy to know that I'm doing so much better since you were key to my initial
healing.
