I would like to introduce you to perhaps the most dynamic new Member of Congress just elected from Florida's 220° district (which includes Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, and Boca Raton). If you are unfamiliar with him, Lieutenant Colonel Allen West is a critical rising star on the national stage who has pledged to go to Congress to make the changes needed to get this country on the right track! I have attached his bio, which details his distinguished military career and other notable professional achievements. Over the past few years, Monica and I have been fortunate to have become friends with Allen. You may be familiar with his rousing and eloquent speech at the 2010 CPAC Conference, made famous when it went viral on YOUTUBE. He has inspired so many and has captured the imagination of many more. His courage, integrity, sense of duty, and intellectual clarity are just a few characteristics that make Representative West one of the most important principled and important leaders we have today. Through the Hudson Institute, I will be hosting a breakfast from 8:00-9:30 AM in a convenient midtown location. This is NOT a fundraiser. It is an opportunity to meet this great man and learn more about him, his principles, and what he seeks to accomplish in the new Congress.
