Dearer AS you know I have flown to Europe on my first stop on my way to the Ivory
Coast. Unfortunately , my colleague and partner, the man you met in N.Y. Tom Pritsker head
of Hyatt hotels and various other co.s , had to return to the states. The economic crisis in the
euro has taken some by surprise.. I very much believe in the great opportunity that the Ivory
Coast presents. I feel awful having to cancel the trip . but I feel it important as your uncles time
is precious that he gets to see more that just me. I would be glad to come , but think it wiser to
delay the trip until the 17th of December where I might also bring Sultan from Dubai with me as
well.. I hope this has not caused any difficulties, and once again I apologize for the change. The
ambassador and I will coordinate in New York
