Subject: Boeing filming
Jeffrey,.
Universal Jet has contacted me with a possible Boeing trip,.
The new TV series "PanAm" is looking for a Boeing 727 vintage aircraft
to use in filming some scenes in approximately two weeks, no flying,
just filming inside and outside the aircraft, they need the aircraft in
Farmingdale NY for four days for filming shoot.
No passengers on the trip, would require reposition from Palm Beach to
Farmingdale NY only, I could check with Rich Kahn whether we could
consider this a maintenance test flight that may be included in our
ground insurance coverage, long shot,.or purchase flight insurance for
trip,.
cost of operation
flight time: 5 hours 6,250 gallons of fuel cost $4.98 Palm Bch fuel
cost, $31,125.00
Flight engineer cost: $500.00 for four days: $2,000.00
Co pilot (Rodgers) $3,000.00 four days
Total trip expense estimate: $36,125.00
I was thinking of $12,500 per hour for Boeing operation: 5 hours =
$62,500.00 for the filming,
profit $26,375.00 (or what ever number you think is appropriate?)
Are you interested in this ? If your interested, I will get more details on whether they will be
shooting inside the aircraft or just outside
thank you,
Larry
