The best day in the near future would be ze June. Lord Macdonald's fee for preparation for and attendance at a meeting in Paris would be £20000 sterling, plus VAT if applicable, plus first-class travel expenses [we would also require Counsel's hotel accommodation to be paid separately, if the need to make an overnight stay in Paris should arise]. We would require receipt of the agreed funds by Friday 15th June. I can provide you with Matrix Chambers' bank details so that payment for Counsel's work can be made electronically. I would be grateful if you could confirm that the quoted fee is agreeable to you, and that you can pay in advance by the 15th June.
