good afternoon mrs. de jongh-
the permit will not need modification if they are still going to be placing the
moorings within the same footprint identified. has LSJ received its approvals from
the army corps? we usually receive correspondence from the corps when they
issue a permit; however, i cannot remember seeing such. additionally, please
remind the folks that will be working on the installation to notify mr. richards in
my office at least 48 hours before they begin so that we can notify the division of
enforcement that there will be some in-water work going on.
thank you,
JP

I have attached the permit for the two mooring buoys that was issued to
LSJ, LLC in June of 2011. You will note that the permit allows for a
"double screw anchor for the moorings. We believe that it is customary
to have three (3) screws in a triangular pattern to provide the most
strength in different wind conditions. Would LSJ, LLC need to apply for
another permit or an amended permit in order to install a third screw?
Please let me know at your earliest convenience. Thank you.
