Attached document should help in bringing up to speed with our Polio efforts in Nigeria and Pakistan. It also provides an update on what is happening and who we are already working with. Specific Questions are: I) Any advice re dealing with the violence in Nigeria and Pakistan? Who is perceived as influential in these problematic areas of Nigeria and Pakistan? 2) Who could help in mediating peace and advocating for polio vaccination? 3) Who in the middle east to approach to have them speak out in favor of the Polio campaign. 4) How/who can assess whether the Taliban or Boko Harem can be ok with polio eradication and if so how we avoid conflict Please let me know if you need any more information.
