Re: tillatiONS
Dear Jeffrey,
Thank you for your email, I was just in the process of writing to you!
It was a pleasure meeting you yesterday; thank you for taking the time to meet and discuss the
assistant role with me while you were in New York!
I became a bit sad reading your email though; should I take it as if you are not interested in me as
a candidate? If so, why? I have large ambitions in life, and I had to question how working for your
would benefit me in those ambitions and goals...
It is true that I have been considering consulting opportunities, but I contacted you as I was
questioned if I actually wanted to work as a consultant (I was interviewed for McKinsey in New
York during the fall, but I actually did not found it very attractive). After our discussion yesterday
I have been thinking quite much and I unfortunately found the opportunity working for you to be
more attractive. May I ask, is it because I preferred to start September the 1st or my worries
about the resume? If so, please do let me know.
Once again, thank you for your time yesterday and I look forward hearing back from you!
Kind regards,
