Subject: Update on currency innovation
Dear Jeffrey,
We corresponded about 18 months ago, after being connected with each other via the Gates
Foundation. You were interested in hosting a group to discuss monetary reform and currency
innovation. Then suddenly I didnt hear anymore. I hope all is OK?
I write for two reasons. Im in NYC March 20th to 24th so could meet and discuss. Second, things
have exploded in this field since 18 months ago, due to bitcoin, and so now Im better resourced
and connected to that field as well as the less high profile new currencies. Im putting together a
project with the UN to better inform policy makers and regulators about these issues. It will feed
into the World Investment Forum in Sept and also the post Millenium Development Goals
international agreement about financing for development. Maybe something we could discuss.
Thx, Jem
