Following the poll, our technology expert recommended the Microsoft Windows Surface2 Tablet. Below are the specs: 1) Has a USB port 2) Comes with an external keyboard included 3) Uses the Windows 8 operating system 4) Quick syncs to PCs running Windows 5) The department can provide MS Office to the students' tablets, he said 6) Has a micro SD card reader (for photos, etc off of phones) 7) Price per unit: $449 I wanted to get you some student-feedback as quickly as possible with regards to suggested hardware for students.
