The main issue is the HDMI cables and ethernet Cable. The Installer has confirmed, via Sony, we will need 2 Kordz HDMI cables with Power Dongles, one to run from Equipment rack to projector for image, and the other back for sound. At the Same time we need to run a new Cat6 ethernet cable from equipment to projector. If I can get Cat7 cable we run this from projector to equipment, the issue here is the ethernet cable from the router in basement to equipment rack is Cat5. The ethernet Cable is for the downloading of 4K movies to media player and firmware updates I have asked Sony to arrange for the shipment of the Kordz HDMI cables today, expected delivery Thursday PM as cable company only ships USPS, mail. Once HDMI cable is received the moulding will be removed, moulding re routed out to fit cables. My concern is the size of cables Vs how much we can router moulding down to make cables fit. If this doesn't work then we have to find a new way to route cables from equipment to projector. At best a 2/3 day job. Can we move forward with Cable install Friday this week and try complete by the 30th or wait until we get back from LSJ in January.
