Subject: GIV virbation update
Jeffrey.
Test flew the GIV to Teterboro this evening, NO change in vibration, still exists with new vortex generators on
upper fuselage. I did make an interesting find. During decent rate of 2000 feet per min or greater the vibration is
no longer present and aircraft is smooth, with decent rate of 900 ft per min, the vibration is present, same power
setting on engines,. I will demonstrate on our flight to St Thomas tomorrow to confirm this theory. Makes me
suspect of wing paint thickness, the wing is unloaded with decent rate of 2000 ft per min I think?
