Subject: Apology
Mr. Epstein,
First of all, I would like to thank you for the opportunity you've given to Mark and for letting us
stay at your apartment. I would like to sincerely apologize for the incident with the doorman,
Mike, the other night. I've had a great experience with all of them to date. Unfortunately, not
having met Mike before he did not know me and would not let me enter the building as I was
returning from a married couples' Halloween get together right across the street who I just met.
He asked for verification, and I told him that I didn't know how as Mark was out of town. I
indicated to him what unit I lived in, but he would not let me pass by regardless of what I said. I
became very anxious with no other place to go and became very upset with him. I'm planning on
talking to Mike and apologize to him in person and I apologize for bringing any embarrassment to
you. Please note I had a couple of glasses of wine but I was not drunk. I was just very frightened
and very upset with no other place to go. I do not know why Mike thought I was there, but he
did not believe anything I said. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Donna
