John Alexander 1882 Emilio Lane West Palm Beach, FL 33406 July 20, 2013 To Whom It May Concern, In May, I graduated from the University of Alabama, magna cum laude, with my B.S. in Restaurant, Hotel, and Meetings Management. Currently, I am looking for a management training position. I am not a typical new graduate. While attending the University of Alabama I had the opportunity to participate in H.A.R.A.C.A. (Hotel And Restaurant And Convention Association) and also became a Certified Hospitality Supervisor through the American Hotel and Lodging Association. As a brother of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity, I held several leadership positions, including Vice President, Sergeant at Arms and Engineering Leadership Coordinator. Being a leader within the fraternity, I organized several volunteer efforts to assist victims affected by the tornado that struck Tuscaloosa in 2011, including re-establishing the library at a devastated elementary school. I believe these unique experiences have enhanced my formal education. Last summer I completed my internship at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida. While my concentration at school was in hotel and lodging, my internship experience was primarily in Food and Beverage at their Flagler Steakhouse, which gave me practical experience in that area of hospitality. I am currently looking for experience in all aspects of the operation of a luxury hotel-resort. Las Vegas, being world renowned in all aspects of hospitality, would provide many unique options for advancing my career. Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino, being a luxury resort of unsurpassed reputation, provides the innumerable opportunities I am seeking.
