Dr. W. E. Bosarge, Jr., Ph.D. is a Co-founder of Quantlab Financial and serves as its
Chairman. Dr. Bosarge is the Founder of Capital Technologies, Inc. He serves as the Chief
Executive Officer of Capital Technologies, Inc. and Petrodome Energy, LLC. He served as the
Chief Executive Officer of Quantlab Financial, LLC. Dr. Bosarge began his career at IBM
working on the flight control systems for the NASA Saturn 1-B and Saturn V programs. At IBM,
he later redirected his work to quantitative analysis of financial markets together with various
Wall Street firms to develop methods for yield enhancement of large fixed income portfolios.
He has also served as a Faculty Member of the Mathematical Sciences Department at Rice
University from 1969 to 1972 where he taught quantitative methods for computer-based
solutions to non-linear problems. In 1986, Dr. Bosarge founded The Frontier Companies where
he further developed predictive financial market technologies for automated trading of the
major equity, fixed income and foreign exchange markets. Mr. Bosarge serves as a Member of
Business Advisory Board at CelHeafth Institute LLC. He was a Nasa mathematician. Dr.
Bosarge is the author of over 20 scientific papers in mathematical solutions to financial
modeling problems, and digital signal processing, as applied to the world's liquid financial
markets. He is on the Board of Visitors of MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. Dr.
Bosarge holds both B.S. and M.S. Degrees in Applied Mathematics from the Georgia Institute
of Technology as well as a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Brown University.
