To: Jeffrey Epsteinfiemmeation©gmail.com] From: Roy Hodges Sent: Tue 6/18/2013 12:22:56 PM Subject: Re: Jules would be my first pick. He ONLY operates equipment. In the future, I think we are better off renting trackhoes and dozers and they would come with operators anyway. Buck would be my next pick, he works in mechanical but is really not a very good mechanic. The downside is he is our truck driver but we could live without full time truck driver. Most likely would save money by hiring a driver one day a week or every other week. Sheridan (Tap) would be next. He is a much better mechanic than Buck but not as fast as I would like him to be. Guy is doing a really good job. He is learning quickly from Boscoe and is much more motivated than the other workers in the mechanical area. Also, he is the one person I can put with Boscoe or Dave and not have any arguments. Boscoe is a great mechanic and operates the barge very well. He can be a bit difficult at times but I've been able to manage him. Dave is our only carpenter. I don't really see a time when we won't have carpentry projects. Danny has excellent knowledge of the island and he is able to do a bit of everything. It would be difficult to lose Danny. TJ is the more skilled of the two painters but they are both good. I'm afraid in the salt environment that we live in painting is going to always be ongoing necessity . Many of their touch ups don't make the project list. They are also our best masonry guys. Smiley does a terrific job. He keeps his area very tidy, has excellent records on the RO plant and is meticulous with the pools. He was pretty disgruntled when I arrived and actually gave me his notice on my second day here but since then he seems to be in a better frame of mind. We really like Ramon. He is one of the few guys you can give a project to and he will figure it out without further instruction. He has a very good eye for detail. He handles the boats very well. In the future, I plan on having him spend some time with Smiley to learn the RO and Pools.
