This week, a seminal video game gets a long-awaited sequel, a photographer grants us

Back in the game
If you grew up playing video
games, chances are you're
familiar with Brian Fargo's
pioneering, post-apocalyptic
RPG, Wasteland. Originally
debuted in 1988, the game
was one of the first to boast
features like
a persistent world and cause-
and-effect gameplay —
elements that have since
become staples of the
industry. Fans have always
wanted a sequel, and Fargo
hopes to create it in the spirit
of the original: "By garners,
for garners."

most distinctive voices
in modem film, David
Lynch has influenced a
generation of artists
with a cinematic style
that is surrealistic,
often strange, and
always unique. So
what makes a
famously mysterious
man tick? Filmmaker
Jason S. aims to
tackle that question in
the final segment of
his series on the
legendary figure. By
deeply exploring what
happened to this man
before he was The
Man, he'll reveal who
Lynch is both as an
artist and as a person.

Story of an artist
Jung Kim first met the
enigmatic musician Daniel
Johnston when she was invited
backstage to photograph him
at a small Brooklyn show four
years ago. After one snap their
instantaneous connection was
clear, and she hasn't stopped
since. Her collection of
photographs, now numbering
in the thousands, provides an
intimate, rare glimpse into the
life of a notoriously reclusive
artist — one she hopes to
