Jeffrey,
ref: Bell 430 UK,.
should have written report from Chris Gray the inspector from Edwards by Friday, my verbal
with Chris, he was very impressed with the condition of the Bell 430 in UK,. Chris is very
thorough and blunt, if he says he liked it, says a lot. Chris ran the engines with blades
removed, you can only run one engine at a time, at idle per Bell factory,.
area of concern would be corrosion on axle's on main gear and nose, possibility of leaks in
landing gear actuators, since they have not been exercised, no leaks noticed at this time, not
big dollars items, just his first thoughts,.since the brakes and main wheels need
replacing, which I already noted during my viewing,.and was quoted in maintenance
estimate,.
at this time, Craig from PremiAir is requesting company name, and owner name so he is able
to brief Mick Bailey the owner of the Bell 430 to final net numbers and who we are, if we are
to precede with this purchase. Mr Bailey has not fully committed to our offer of $1.6M and
Craig at PremiAir and his engineer dept are finalizing the maintenance quote, with our request
of $50,000 reduced price of firm quote repairs.
please advise what company name, and if you are ok with using your name as purchaser? if
you decide to continue this purchase.
thank you,
Larry
