He is not sighted on what is happening although he remembered being asked whether he was interested in developing Silverstone when the original PWC notice went out. He views BRDC as "desperately uncommercial" and the last thing he would want is to get into business with them. He recalled the unhappy and expensive experience of the US business, Octagon, at Silverstone and other racing venues. The only person he has time for is Neil England. They talk regularly and easily. The next time they talk he will fish around on the outcome of the PWC process and see where Neil thinks it is heading. He will let me know and I will get back to you.
