Do you believe. How are you. Just got back from Palm Beach. My idiot brother and I did a beautiful memorial lunch at Club Colette Saturday for my mother...I left the idiot in charge of inviting ...so only 50 came because he didn't follow thru and make sure the High Ridge Country Club posted the invite on the main bulletin board instead of just the ladies locker room....or we would have had 100 free loaders. All the relatives showed up and it was beautiful anyway...I was the key note speaker and stand up comic... I convince brother to put PB apt on market now because for an idiot second, he thought he wanted to use it...but then realized he had to buy it from me. I told him it made no sense...he could go on vacations for much less than maintenance and taxes. Going to opening of "Priscilla Queen of the Desert" tonight. When you come to NYC, I will get you tickets for "The Book of Mormon"...thafs the best one. Don't forge the sex trafficking organization. xoxo Peg — Original Messae From: Frank Rich To: Peggy Siegal Sent: Sun Mar 20 12:06:06 2011 Subject: Re: Oscar Diary/Annette Siegal eulogy- 11IANK YOU You should definitely keep writing! It could be an annuity later on— it's also fun. And the Memorial is worth taking notes on as well —not just the glitzy stun.— for it too is about society in its various manifestations. 1-lope and trust it went well. Hope Mormon lunch wasn't a trial. Finally catching up with the show next weekend. See you at Mildred tomorrow night- On Fri, Mar 18, 2011 at 7:06 AM. Peggy Siegal < wrote: Your email is actually better than Graydon Carter's. He told me, "delightful and well written" but no mention of employment. I am not giving up my day job because that is the ticket to the talented and glamorous....but I am now highly motivated to write down the many facets of society I see everyday. On my way to an 8:00am meeting with your pals Chris Boneau and Scott Rudin about seating a media lunch for 100 today at the Four Seasons for "The Book of Nonnan" Ugh. I am in shock Scott hired me after I spent six months inventing Tom Hooper and sleeping with every ancient Academy member Ibr their vote for "The King's Speech". Again, your praise means the world to me and I thank you from the bottom of my tiny pr heart. I am headed to Palm Beach later to give a memorial lunch at Club Colette for 50 of my mother's 80 plus year old golfing buddies....marking the end of an era of the kept and pampered Jewish suburban queen. Looking forward to your next chapter at New York Mag....xoxo Peggy — Orel Messae-- From: To: Peggy Siegal EFTA_R1_00537546 EFTA02028785 Cc: Stephanie; Sent Thu Mar 17 16:45:41 2011 Subject: Re: Oscar Diary/Annette Siegal eulogy Both arrived— both wonderful.
