Dubin.pdf It sounds like a good 100 K investment. What do you think? I will approach all the foundations Melanie discussed. Peter Dottino is not part of the Breast Center but I really like him and this would directly have an impact on our breast patients. Date: Tue, 15 Feb 2011 23:15:47 -0500 Subject: researchproposal - breast cancer genetics From: To: CC: thank you again for taking the time to speak to me this morning. Peter and I are absolutely excited about the project and just as enthusiastic about our chances for making real progress in a reasonable time frame. As you suggested, I put together a I page summary/research description of the work. It is attached as a pdf. Hopefully, I was able to convey the uniqueness and timeliness of the research: an opportunity to identify the genes which lead to the development of breast cancer in all women through the targeted study of families who inherit and pass on an extremely high risk of breast cancer without mutations in BRCA1/2. Again, we are very appreciative of your efforts to help us move this forward. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or comments. Sincerely, John John A.
