We let ■ know he will be receiving some extra help during 9th period some and his response was a bit apprehensive. He is asking why we think he is "stupid"... And he thought he was good at reading...ETC. I tried to give him encouraging words and told him this is a positive for him and to embrace the help so he keeps on track. I told him we want to make sure the comprehension is there of what he is reading and how to express himself in a clear way, remember FACES, etc...just wanted you to know he is sad and I am hoping you can be sensitive to this with him and help him along.
