(so glad Illrefused the ham sandwich that day!) I threw the hamburger meat down the disposal last night then jumped in the car and ran to the groce Bought new meat and was still able to get dinner all prepared before were home from football practice! Many people thaw meat on the counter over night. I do not. Thawing in the fridge is much safer. I would bet that it was ok if it was still cold when you found it.
