Ty always seems very confident, says it's not much work, and that it's all going very easy. I have the sixth grade curriculum, so 1 know what he should be working on, but sometimes he can't remember what unit he is in, unless I ask about the topics that are covered in that unit...Perhaps having a folder of recent work collected, would help us have a better conversation about it, and then make our work together a bit more proactive, and specific to what he might be having some difficulty with (whether he realizes it or not...).
