I know that Delta usually has some special rates on Wednesdays, other airlines - no clue. Most International flights usually better to get tickets in advance. Some airlines have promo fares during certain period of time...Hard to tell, due to I only getting emails from emirates, due to have account with them... For domestic flights we have - most of the time - special discounts with Delta and Americans. If you have frequent flyer numbers, you should receive those type of emails... I know online there are special tools fro watch the fare, but I never used it...(l put the desired rout and the date and computer sends you messages when it is time to book)... Is there any rhyme or reason to when to buy a ticket?
