However, for any new accounts opened in the future, the Depositor Information Sheet must be sent to the client, signed, and returned, and submitted with account opening docs for DBAG NY accounts. Among other changes, the directive now requires foreign branches of Deutsche Bank AG, including NY and Cayman branches to implement the following: In accordance with DGS, deposit protection coverage, in the event of default, is up to $100,000EUR per depositor. Inform new customers (for accounts opened post July 2015) about their participation in the deposit guarantee scheme (DGS) before opening their first account by distributing the "Depositor Information Sheet", attached, which the customer must sign and return. o This will need to be managed by the Relationship Manager and his/her team during the onboarding process Inform existing customers (for accounts opened pre July 2015) , via their account statements and/or a Depositor Information Sheet, attached, about the fact that their deposits are covered. No acknowledgement is required. EFTA01427937 o Marketing will coordinate a central mailing Inform existing customers, on an annual basis, about DGS by distributing the Depositor Information Sheet. No acknowledgement is required. o This will be conducted centrally Please note that this applies ONLY to DBAG NY and Cayman Branch accounts-- this does not impact DBTCA accounts. This information will be posted to our mydb page.
