Bin Ennakhil Palace

A large estate on the Route de Ouarzazate outside Marrakesh, Morocco. Jeffrey Epstein first attempted to purchase the palace in 2011 through Marrakesh realtor Marc Leon. In the days before his July 6, 2019 arrest, Epstein instructed Southern Trust to wire $27.7 million to Leon's Swiss bank account to complete the purchase. The first wire of 11.15 million euros went through on June 30, 2019. The second, for $14.95 million, was submitted July 4, 2019, signed by Epstein himself. The timing of these transfers, concentrated in the final days before federal agents arrived, remains under investigation.
