Hôtel des Ambassadeurs de Hollande
47 rue Vieille-du-Temple, 75004 Paris, France
A 17th-century hôtel particulier (private mansion) at 47 rue Vieille-du-Temple in the Marais district of Paris, also known as the Hôtel Amelot de Bisseuil. Designed by architect Pierre Cottard for the Viscount of Bisseuil, a master of requests for Louis XIV. In November 2013, Caroline Lang emailed Jeffrey Epstein offering to arrange a private visit to the property, which her friend Sophie Dusmenil's husband had purchased approximately two years earlier. The Dusmenils had originally planned to renovate it into luxury apartments but changed their minds and wanted to sell. Epstein replied 'Yes please.' The following day, Caroline Lang organized a private exhibition viewing at the Palais de Tokyo followed by a visit to the mansion, copying her father Jack Lang on the emails. Whether Epstein ultimately purchased the property is not established in the available documents.
