Raafat Al-Sabbagh (Arabic: رأفت عبدالله سعد الصباغ; also rendered Raafat Alsabbagh / Raafat AlSabbagh) is a Saudi national who has served as an Adviser at the Royal Court (Diwan) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since May 2016 and is widely reported to be a personal adviser to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He was introduced to Jeffrey Epstein in early 2016 by Norwegian diplomat Terje Rød-Larsen and proceeded to correspond with Epstein for the next two years. The DOJ-released EFTA archive contains 200+ emails between the two on topics including Saudi geopolitics, Middle East oil prices, the planned Saudi Aramco IPO (Epstein advised Saudi Arabia against the U.S. listing, citing "Wall Street demons"), MBS's policy priorities, and the broader Saudi reform agenda. Al-Sabbagh also attended dinners at Epstein's Manhattan townhouse alongside figures including Larry Summers and Tom Pritzker. In August 2016, after Tom Barrack met Al-Sabbagh in Saudi Arabia, Barrack texted Epstein: "Met ur Saudi friend!
He loves u!!" On U.S. election day 2016, Epstein advised Al-Sabbagh that "TOM barrack is your point person" for coordinating a King Salman congratulatory call to President-elect Trump. These exchanges have been cited in reporting by The New Arab, Bne Intellinews, WhoWhatWhy ("The Epstein Accords"), and others. Al-Sabbagh maintains a LinkedIn profile (listed at Nesma & Partners) and Instagram (@alsabbaghraafat). He has not been the subject of mainstream U.S. media interviews about his Epstein correspondence and has not been named in publicly released Senate Finance Committee documents, SDNY court filings, or Maxwell trial discovery.
He continues to serve in the Saudi Royal Court as of late 2025 per the Dhow Net biographical registry. The submitter who flagged this entity (Abdulrahman Nasser Alaklabi, May 2026) described Al-Sabbagh as "the middle man between MBS and jeffery Epstein, hundreds of emails and meetings."
