Israeli-American behavioral economist, James B. Duke Professor of Psychology and Behavioral Economics at Duke University. Named 636 times in the January 2026 DOJ document release. Corresponded with Epstein from 2010 to 2016 and met at least seven times in person.

Epstein arranged for Ariely to have a private tour of the Ferrari factory. Duke subsequently shuttered three research centers including Ariely's Center for Advanced Hindsight.
