Harvard professor Elisa New emailed Epstein in May 2016 about her PBS show 'Poetry in America,' writing they would 'not give Woody [Allen] larger or more important billing than Bill Clinton or Joe Biden' -- referencing Biden's filmed appearance on the series, which Epstein helped fund. A June 2016 email thread about a clinical trial locator app mentions Biden's 'Cancer Moonshot' initiative, and Epstein forwarded the thread with the note 'sent to biden private.' Biden's name also appears in numerous news clippings and newsletters in the files.
A viral edited image of Biden with Epstein was debunked as false by fact-checkers. Named on the DOJ's February 2026 list of 305 politically exposed persons.
