UNCLASSIFIED//FOUO SITUATIONAL REPORT (SITREP) Jeffrey Epstein - Victim; Irregularities in a Federal Penal Institution; Death Investigation; 90A-NY-3151227 (U) Current Situation of Epstein Death investigation, as of 1:00 p.m. EDT 08/12/2019: • (U//FOUO) Members of the VCTF, SDNY, and OIG began the interview of the Warden of the MCC at approximately 10:00 a.m. on 8/12/2019 • (U/fFOUO) Members of the VCTF submitted the MCC video hard drives to NYO CART. A preliminary review of the hard drives indicated that the video system they were connected to is proprietary to the MMC/BOP. Consequently, NYO CART will need to facilitate any potential review of video on the hard drives through the MCC system. • (U//FOUO) Members of the VCTF received "Forthwith" subpoenas from SDNY to be served to three (3) of the Correctional Officers for seizure of their cell phones.
