Civil lawsuit alleges Epstein‑Maxwell network used a masseuse to recruit sex slaves, implicating Prince Andrew and suggesting a suppressed FBI probe

Civil lawsuit alleges Epstein‑Maxwell network used a masseuse to recruit sex slaves, implicating Prince Andrew and suggesting a suppressed FBI probe The passage provides a concrete civil complaint naming a specific victim (Ransome), alleged recruitment tactics, passport seizure, and threats, as well as linking Prince Andrew and a possible FBI investigation that was allegedly quashed by a non‑prosecution agreement. It offers actionable leads (court filing, dates, parties) and ties high‑profile figures, but the claims are largely unverified and rely on a single lawsuit, limiting its immediate explosiveness. Key insights: Ransome’s civil suit (filed Jan 2017) alleges she was recruited as a masseuse for Epstein in exchange for fashion‑design opportunities.; The complaint says Epstein and Maxwell kept her passport and threatened violence to force sex with them and others in 2006‑07.; Allegations that the same period coincided with negotiations between Epstein’s lawyers and U.S. Attorney J. Acosta for a non‑prosecution deal.

Case 1:19-cv-03377 Document 1-16 Filed 04/16/19 Page 4 of 6 now found an unbalanced woman who has delusions of having sex tapes of Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton and other prominent figures,” Dershowitz said in a tweet. Boies, best known for arguing on behalf of Vice President Al Gore in the 2000 Florida election recount, responded in an interview with the Herald: “[Dershowitz’s] charges are absurd. Either he has become totally unhinged or he thinks that if he says things that are loud enough and crazy enough it will distract attention from what he has done. There is no support — none — for what he says.” Ransome claimed that, in her early 20s, she was recruited to work as a masseuse for Epstein who, in exchange, promised he would help her get into fashion design in New York, according to her civil lawsuit, filed in January 2017. Epstein and Maxwell then kept her passport and threatened to ruin her life and physically harm her if she didn’t have sex with them and others in 2006 and 2007, Ransome said in the complaint. The complaint alleges that this all occurred at the same time as Epstein’s lawyers were negotiating with Acosta and other federal prosecutors for a deal to avoid federal sex trafficking charges in connection with a scheme in which he lured underprivileged girls, mostly 13 to 16, to his home in Palm Beach under the pretense that he would pay them $200 to $300 for massages. Instead, police in Palm Beach found that he had been molesting and sexually abusing dozens of girls between 2001 and 2007. al In this photograph, Virginia Roberts socializes with Prince Andrew as Jeffrey Epstein associate Guislaine Maxwell stands in the background. Roberts claims she was effectively used as a sex slave by Epstein. In that capacity she had sex with the prince, Roberts says. The prince denied that. COURTESY OF VIRGINIA ROBERTS Under the plea deal, known as a non-prosecution agreement, Epstein was allowed to plead guilty in state court to two prostitution charges. He served 13 months in a private wing of the Palm Beach County jail, where he was given liberal work release privileges. The deal also quashed an FBI investigation into whether Epstein was operating an international sex trafficking organization, the Herald found as part of its yearlong investigation. “Even as [Epstein, Maxwell and other defendants] and their attorneys were busy arguing Epstein’s innocence and publicly defaming his victims as liars...defendants merely changed their location” from Palm Beach to “other places in the U.S. [including the Southern District of New York] and abroad and brought them to Epstein’s mansion in New York City and his private island in the Virgin Islands,” Ransome’s complaint alleged. https://www.miamiherald.com/latest-news/article223315075.html

Civil lawsuit alleges Epstein‑Maxwell sex‑trafficking scheme tied to federal plea negotiations and possible high‑level cover‑up

Civil lawsuit alleges Epstein‑Maxwell sex‑trafficking scheme tied to federal plea negotiations and possible high‑level cover‑up The passage provides concrete allegations from a civil complaint (named plaintiff Ransome) that Jeffrey Epstein recruited a young masseuse with promises of fashion‑design work, kept her passport, and forced sex with powerful figures. It links the timeline to a non‑prosecution agreement negotiated by federal prosecutors (including an unnamed Acosta) and notes that the deal quashed an FBI investigation. The mention of Prince Andrew, [REDACTED - Survivor], and potential involvement of senior DOJ officials gives actionable leads (names, dates, alleged transactions) that merit follow‑up, though the claims are unverified and rely on a single civil filing. Key insights: Ransome’s civil complaint (filed Jan 2017) alleges Epstein promised career help in exchange for sex and kept her passport.; Complaint ties alleged abuse to the period when Epstein’s lawyers were negotiating a non‑prosecution agreement with federal prosecutors (Acosta et al.).; The plea deal allowed Epstein to plead guilty to state prostitution charges, receive a private‑wing jail sentence, and allegedly halted an FBI probe into an international trafficking network.

[REDACTED - Survivor] v. Alan Dershowitz – Allegations of Sex Trafficking, NPA Manipulation, and Defamation

[REDACTED - Survivor] v. Alan Dershowitz – Allegations of Sex Trafficking, NPA Manipulation, and Defamation The complaint provides a dense web of alleged connections between Alan Dershowitz, Jeffrey Epstein, former U.S. Attorney Alexander Acosta, and the 2008 non‑prosecution agreement (NPA). It cites specific actions (e.g., alleged drafting of the NPA, defamatory statements, settlement confidentiality) and dates that could be pursued for documentary evidence, witness interviews, and financial‑flow analysis. If substantiated, the lead would expose potential prosecutorial misconduct and high‑level collusion, generating major public outrage. Key insights: Roberts alleges she was trafficked by Epstein from 2000‑2002 and forced to have sex with Dershowitz.; Dershowitz is accused of helping draft and pressure the government into the 2008 NPA that shielded Epstein and co‑conspirators.; Acosta, then U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, approved the NPA; later became Trump’s Secretary of Labor.
