He was sorry to hear that Stephen had left as he felt that he had a good rapport with him over the phone. The apparently spoke Greek for part of the conversation. Robert remains interested in the position of Director of Development and pointed out that he has expertise in the Director of Residences type position as well. Obviously the turnover in this position has given him pause and I explained that you have been challenged to find the right professional who function at all levels of the job requirements. Robert is currently involved in a variety of projects that make a visit to NYC something he would prefer to do knowing better if he will be discussing the DOD position or something a little different. He and I are both suggesting to you that a Monday morning phone interview might be the way to make first contact and confirm strong mutual interest in this project. Please let me know your thoughts.
