In order to remove the old fuel tanks the deck above the rudder room has to be cut open to remove
each tank. Once the tanks are removed and fabricated the deck will have to be welded back in and
primed.
Fabricate two new tanks out of 5086 marine grade 1/4" aluminum. The tanks will be identical to
the old tanks. They will have the three inspection hatches with gaskets, the baffles, the new fuel fill.
and all new hardware.
Materials: Each tank will take approximately 4 sheets of 45{8' 5086 marine grade 1/4" aluminum.
Cut off wheels, grinding wheels, circular saw blades, saw all blades, argon gas, mig wire, new bolts
and washers, 5086 marine grade pipe for fill.
Crane time to remove both tanks and install new tanks: two hours

this will not happen again.***
