ALL 419 VIDEOS ARE MCC (Metropolitan Correctional Center) JAIL SURVEILLANCE RECORDINGS from the period of Epstein's detention, covering
July 6, 2019 (arrest) through August 11, 2019 (day after death). Frame extraction confirms on-screen camera IDs and timestamps from the MCC 9 South Special Housing Unit. All 417 of the 352x240 videos are silent surveillance recordings (no audio stream).

Key Findings from Video Evidence
1. Cell camera footage exists from the morning of death. EFTA00028842 shows camera C-B14 ("J Epstein") at 04:29 AM on August 10, 2019 — approximately 2 hours before the body was found at ~6:30 AM. A figure in orange prison clothing is visible on the cell floor/bunk area. The OIG report stated DVR2 was not recording from 7/29 to 8/9; this footage is timestamped 8/10, potentially after DVR2 restoration or from a separate recording system.
2. Guard station captured during critical nights. Camera 116 9S L TIER,B2 shows the guard desk where COs Noel and Thomas were stationed. Footage exists from 07/29 (night of first suicide attempt) and 08/09 (night before death). The OIG report stated these COs "never rose from their seats" during the overnight shift of 8/9-8/10.
3. Complete detention coverage. The 412.5 hours span from arrest day (7/6) through the day after death (8/11) across 5 camera positions, providing comprehensive surveillance of the 9 South SHU during Epstein's entire stay.

ANALYTICAL SUMMARY
The 419 videos are MCC jail surveillance recordings, NOT footage from Epstein's properties. Frame extraction confirms on-screen camera IDs and timestamps from the Metropolitan Correctional Center's 9 South Special Housing Unit, covering Epstein's entire detention from arrest (July 6) through the day after death (August 11, 2019).
The DOJ publicly released 412.5 hours of the very surveillance footage that was at the center of enormous public controversy about what happened the night Epstein died. This includes footage from inside his cell (C-B14) timestamped just hours before his body was found.
