The Survivors and the Fight for Justice
The Women Who Brought Down a Monster
Every piece of evidence, every conviction, and every public reckoning in the Epstein case exists because survivors had the courage to come forward — often at enormous personal cost. They faced intimidation, legal threats, media scrutiny, and a system that was designed to protect their abuser.
Virginia Giuffre
Perhaps the most visible Epstein survivor, Giuffre was recruited at age 16 while working at Mar-a-Lago. Her allegations against Prince Andrew, Alan Dershowitz, and others brought international attention to the case. She settled her civil suit against Andrew for an estimated $12 million and her defamation case against Dershowitz. She has been a tireless advocate for victims' rights and accountability.
Courtney Wild
Wild was 14 when she was recruited by another victim and brought to Epstein's Palm Beach mansion. She became a lead plaintiff in the Crime Victims' Rights Act case that challenged the NPA. Her persistence over more than a decade helped reopen the federal investigation.
Maria Farmer
Farmer was one of the first to report Epstein and Maxwell to the FBI — in 1996. Her report was ignored. She was later assaulted by both Epstein and Maxwell at Wexner's Ohio estate. She has spoken publicly about the institutional failures that allowed Epstein to continue for decades.
Sarah Ransome
Ransome was trafficked to Epstein's island in her early twenties. She attempted to escape by swimming from Little St. James but was caught. Her memoir and legal testimony provided detailed accounts of daily life on the island.
The Collective Impact
Over 100 women have come forward with allegations against Epstein. The Epstein Victims' Compensation Fund distributed over $121 million to more than 135 claimants. Civil lawsuits against JPMorgan and Deutsche Bank resulted in combined settlements exceeding $500 million.
The Ongoing Fight
Survivors continue to push for accountability through the 2025-2026 congressional hearings, advocating for the release of all sealed documents and the prosecution of remaining co-conspirators.

The Epstein Victims' Compensation Fund, administered by Jordana Feldman, distributed $121 million to 135+ claimants between 2020-2021. Claims ranged from $150,000 to over $2 million.
Maria Farmer's 1996 FBI report — one of the earliest known complaints against Epstein — was not acted upon. The case file remained dormant for years. Farmer's account was corroborated by her sister Annie Farmer, who also testified against Maxwell.
